Wabi-Sabi features an eclectic mix of cuisine inspired by Asian flavors coupled with a wide range of tastes from around the world and home again.

The first of its kind in the area, Wabi - Sabi houses a full service Sushi Bar and feature weekly Chef Specials including choice cuts steaks, seafood, and more.
We will also have a fun & unique kids' menu and smoothies made with fresh fruit.

The Music Room, a devoted listening room with a cozy atmosphere, is also located in the historic basement.
High quality jazz, singer-songwriter, bluegrass, and other eclectic music will be featured.

Nestled within the historic walls of The Nathaniel Friend House (est. 1816), Wabi-Sabi incorporated many of the original materials that may have been
uprooted from the renovation process and rehoused to feature an inventive and one-of-a-kind decor.

About the Owners

Owners/operators, Regan & Mark Sprenkle, both native to Richmond VA, have dedicated their time to the preservation of the
Nathaniel Friend House in support of Olde Town Petersburg's Revitalization.

Mark Sprenkle is a 3rd Generation renovator/contractor/architect, carrying on the tradition of building and rebuilding in the area.
His vast knowledge and inventive eye have brought not only the Friend House, but countless other historic dwellings back to life.

Regan Nunnally-Sprenkle is an accomplished musician/singer-songwriter, performing for listeners all over the US and parts of Europe.
She has released 2 CD's and currently has another in the works.

She hopes to introduce more quality music to Petersburg music lovers in an intimate setting.
